Asks for password and then returns to user command line. Application does not start. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. on user terminal enter kdesu dolphin, or kate or click on desktop widget for KSystemLog. 2. Enter root password and press enter 3. Popup for password disappears Actual Results: After password is entered, pop up goes away and cursor is back at command line. Application never starts. Expected Results: Should have started application dolphin, or kate or open KSystemLog Gui. openSUSE 12.1 Milestone 3 - 3.0.0-rc7-2 also fails on openSUSE 12.1 Milestone 3 - 3.0.0-rc6-2 and it worked on 2.6.39-2-desktop.
