Given that the main point of rekonq is being a lightweight KDE browser and the direct successor of Konqueror, it would make sense if rekonq did not also require the obsolete Konqueror to be installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Try to install rekonq Actual Results: Konqueror is pulled in Expected Results: Konqueror should not be pulled in According to the developers of rekonq, it shares a few settings panels with Konqueror ( http://adjamblog.wordpress.com/2010/02/11/rekonq-0-4-beta/comment-page-2/#co... - see comment by dreamz). These could be either split to another package, or Konqueror set as a recommended, but optional dependency.
