[Bug 410005] New: The i18n web page shows also pot files from 50-pot directory
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=410005 Summary: The i18n web page shows also pot files from 50-pot directory Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: wiki AssignedTo: cihlarov@novell.com ReportedBy: lmichnovic@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- On the web page http://i18n.opensuse.org/stats/trunk/sk/lcn/ there is also file dialogsolver.pot from https://forgesvn1.novell.com/viewsvn/suse-i18n/trunk/lcn/50-pot/dialogsolver... IMHO pot files should not appear on the statistics web page. It confuses also external translators. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

GNOME and KDE stats have same behaviour, if a PO file for the language is missing. As an external translator you have fast access to untranslated templates and possibility to fix it without searching where the POT files are stored. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I don't know if it is O.K. to submit new po file manually into the svn. May it break some Karl's workflow? Wouldn't the file be replaced by some automatic script? I've submitted translated po file manually to discover it. ;) If my doubts are wrong, you can close this as invalid. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But it won't break anything if the translator grabs the POT and prepares a PO file on his own and submits it. You are right, it could look confusing but it does no harm. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
