I ran the installation again on an empty disk and got the same result. Interestingly I've noticed that if I run the install on a disk that already has a partition table on it that the installer similarly fails to create a separate home partition, even if the previous setup had one, which means it's not just that YaST is trying to preserve the existing partition table. If you can tell me how to get the logs out of the installation environment I'll send you the logs. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Since btrfs allows snapshots the root partition is bigger in that case. YaST displays a popup when the disk is too small but not for every path in the workflow. We will improve that. With 16GB you get a home partition even when using btrfs. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
