http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1008375 Bug ID: 1008375 Summary: Issue with screen going black when laptop goes to sleep after undocking. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Workspace (Plasma) Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: kurt@bechsteins.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- This problem seems to occur every time I undock my laptop and then when it goes into suspend mode. Upon trying to access the system again by hitting the power button all I get is a black screen and a mouse cursor. I can access a virtual console and restart the machine, but there doesn't seem to be any other way to recover at this point. I'm not sure if this is a kernel issue or a desktop issues. I tried looking at the logs when this happens via journalctl but I didn't see anything of significance logged. This is happening with Leap 42.2 RC2. The hardware is a dell latitude E7440. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
