Why are you unlucky? :-) More seriously, can you reproduce this on more than one install? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=728302 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=728302#c3 Richard Brown <RBrownCCB@opensuse.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |NEW InfoProvider|RBrownCCB@opensuse.org | Severity|Normal |Major --- Comment #3 from Richard Brown <RBrownCCB@opensuse.org> 2011-11-13 00:10:45 UTC --- Done a bit more testing with yet another fresh install, Build 39 (aka GM) A fresh user still doesn't get a locked screen immediately after screen turns off (5 minutes) Even after 6 minutes, a keypress or a mouse move turns the screen back on and the session is unlocked Waiting 10 minutes (so an additional 5 minutes after the screen blanks) appears to be enough to lock the screen This implies that the bug isn't 'screen lock isn't working' but rather, the settings we're showing in System Settings > Screen to the user after a fresh install don't match what we're actually doing We're currently doing "5 minutes" for Screen Off and "5 minutes" for screen lock But in System Settings > Screen we're showing the user "5 minutes" for Screen Off and "Screen turns Off" for screen lock, leading to this confusion. I guess we either need to change the settings so screen lock behaves like we're saying in System Settings, or change what we're saying in System settings to match what we're actually doing.. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
