http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1102139 Bug ID: 1102139 Summary: When installing new version, the upgrader switches back to details tab Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.0 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Release Notes Assignee: sknorr@suse.com Reporter: richard.bos@xs4all.nl QA Contact: lnussel@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- During the installation of openSUSE Leap 15.0 I was reading the Release Notes. The release notes is rather long (https://doc.opensuse.org/release-notes/x86_64/openSUSE/Leap/15.0/) and it takes some time to read it. This (the time needed to read the release notes) is not an issue as installing the new version takes some time as well, so reading the release notes is time well spent. Unfortunately the upgrader moves from the release notes tab to the details tab (this tab shows the progress of the installation). When going back to the release notes, it is back at the top and one need to scroll down to continue reading. Just annoying. Prevent the upgrader/installer from interrupting the user, who is busy reading the release notes. (BTW: I've no idea why the installer switches to the details tab, I don't see a message or something like that). Looking forward to seeing this improved. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
