It looks like Firefox is regularly closed. This change happened within the past 2 - 3 weeks, approximately. May be you can gather it by using some combination of previous acroread or MozillaFirefox versions that have been in your repositories. I forgot to mention: I use the special Mozilla repository for OpenSUSE factory. Closing this tab crashes Firefox. Thus the subject of this report should be changed. The sites displaying in the tab that I closed which caused firefox to exit and I have noted are:- http://www.accuweather.com and opensuse build service. It's the build service that confuses my issue, I don't think it involves any plug ins but I may have had accuweather open in another tab. Definitely not acroread. I hardly ever use the acroread plug in but I was running the build service firefox and the description of the way firefox exits is identical to my case. I never use the openoffice plugin. The next time after attempting to install flash plugin the problem no longer occurred but it was impossible to get any plugins to work. I removed everything again to revert back to opensuse 3.5.2 version. Then I still had a problem with flash which I traced to libgthread 32 bit which was never installed for some reason but everything worked without it.
