[Bug 299224] New: Yast2 will not accept HTTP install address for ports other than default
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=299224 Summary: Yast2 will not accept HTTP install address for ports other than default Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 7 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: benjamin.j.mccann@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer Yast never gives you a chance to enter a port number for an HTTP install. Example: I tried 192.168.19.2:7001 and it said it was ill formatted. I don't see a reason it shouldn't accept other ports. I already have a web server running on 7001 and don't want to set up another or change its settings just for a network install. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

How did you get into the manual mode anyway? The right way is to use the 'install=<url>' boot option and be done with it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
