There is no way to access the computer from the supplied "/etc/system.jwmrc". (The only programs I can access are: Firefox, Gimp, and utilities.) "xterm" should be there, instead. It is installed by default. (Yeah, I hate it, too.) By chance I had "rxvt-unicode" installed (not by default, I don't think). It did not get called; "urxvt" would have been fine. Anyway, someone should write a default generic "jwmrc" for openSUSE. From which repository have you installed JWM? I can't find it in opensuse official repositories.
