At the same time openSUSE 12.1 release notes say that now on for shutdown should be used "halt -p". Unfortunately this became known to me only after the release due to insufficient inter-project communication. I made a patch for fixing this issue and will submint the fix to KDE3:Update:Test. The submit request will also include other fixes which were tested in KDE:KDE3.
