[Bug 659820] New: Build log doesn't include hostname when out of disk space
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=659820 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=659820#c0 Summary: Build log doesn't include hostname when out of disk space Classification: Internal Novell Products Product: openSUSE Build Service Version: master Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: build process AssignedTo: mls@novell.com ReportedBy: tserong@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Currently (~2010-12-16) there is some problem with the host build03 whereby builds on that host fail with the following message: syswrite: No space left on device Unfortunately, this is the *only* thing in the build log. There is no obvious indication of which host has the problem. You can of course find out from "osc jobhistory", e.g.: # osc jobhistory home:tserong hawk openSUSE_11.3 i586 ... 2010-10-28 18:40:26 hawk meta change failed 0m 40s build03/4 ... 2010-12-14 15:32:48 hawk meta change failed 0m 4s build03/8 ..but if you're just looking at the OBS web GUI, you've really got no information to run with. Expected behaviour would be: 1) The build log should always include the hostname, even if something fails catastrophically (e.g.: ENOSPC) 2) The build job should be immediately re-triggered (with some preference for any other build host, if possible) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
