[Bug 1146935] New: Transactional server overlayfs will unmount with nmcli
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1146935 Bug ID: 1146935 Summary: Transactional server overlayfs will unmount with nmcli Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.1 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: william.brown@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- With leap 15.1, fully updated on 20190823, using "nmcli con delete <...>", will cause overlayfs to crash/panic, and unmount. This renders the system unstable. This is 100% reproduceable. I have also reproduced this with "systemctl restart libvirtd", but am not as sure as to why it fails there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

@Jonathan:
The patch is part of Factory / GNOME:Factory/NetworkManager already, I've just applied the existing fix to the SUSE:SLE-15:Update package...
That's what I'm aware of. For GNOME related packages, to submit them to SUSE:SLE-15:Update, we have to go through the devel project.
This is the original patch: https://build.opensuse.org/package/rdiff/GNOME:Factory/ NetworkManager?linkrev=base&rev=335
