https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=290620 Summary: kernel panic when printing ttf file Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: a.vd.heiden@chello.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer I assisted at a call concerning a kernel panic. User received through e-mail an electrnonic fax message (TTF file). She had tried to print the file (HP 7600 series) but the system freezed. I took over and tried to print the file with eye of gnome, evince, the gimp etc. Everytime the system locked. I could not find any significant error message in the log. It looked like a total freeze directly after printing. Only when I first converted the TTF file to Jpeg I was able to print the file. Kernel used, 2.6.18 Regards -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
