[Bug 840589] New: "gummi" crashes whenever a file is opened
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=840589 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=840589#c0 Summary: "gummi" crashes whenever a file is opened Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 13.1 Milestone 4 Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: christoph@maxiom.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/537.21 (KHTML, like Gecko) Arora/0.11.0 Safari/537.21 The LaTeX editor "gummi" crashes whenever a .tex file is opened from within the program. It works when passing the file as a command line argument. I am reporting against GNOME, because it works when downgrading gtk2 to openSUSE 12.3 version, so it might be a gtk2 regression. Patch submitted for both openSUSE:Factory and openSUSE:12.3:Update.
Thanks a lot Hans! I don't know why but I could not reproduce the crash, but the patch definitely corrects the issue with the code. I will push the patch upstream as well. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
