[Bug 480480] New: Different behaviour of alljava.sh and alljava.csh in /etc/profile.d
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=480480 Summary: Different behaviour of alljava.sh and alljava.csh in /etc/profile.d Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Java AssignedTo: bnc-team-java@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: T.Latham@warwick.ac.uk QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Hi, I've noticed that while both the /etc/profile.d/alljava.csh and alljava.sh scripts set the environment variables JAVA_BINDIR, JAVA_ROOT, JAVA_HOME and JRE_HOME, only the alljava.sh script adds the JAVA_BINDIR to the PATH. This means that (t)csh users do not get JAVA_BINDIR in their PATH.
