This went fine without issues. After rebooting I started 'yzpper dup' again, expecting no further changes. However, zypper prompts: Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... Computing distribution upgrade... The following product is going to be REMOVED: openSUSE No additional space will be used or freed after the operation. Continue? The buddy package is the one providing 'product(name) = version'. openSUSE-release-dvd9 not even provides 'product()', just product_flavor().
