A strace -p `pidof kdesud` shows that it hangs in "poll(". A gdb -pid backtrace (it may be unreliable as it says "Failed to read a valid object file image from memory"; another bug!) shows the following: #0 0xb7fcb410 in ?? () #1 0xbfef3dc8 in ??
