https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=364528 Summary: yast segfaults when ldap tries to bind Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: rhafer@novell.com ReportedBy: jsuchome@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- When looking if there is password policy present on server, yast2-users calls ldap agent (using ldapcppling): it tries to bind with dummy password this way: ldap_tmp->bind (bind_dn, "muhahaha", cons_tmp); where cons_tmp is built this way: LDAPCtrl ppolicyCtrl ("1.3.6.1.4.1.42.2.27.8.5.1", true); LDAPControlSet cs; cs.add (ppolicyCtrl); LDAPConstraints *cons_tmp = new LDAPConstraints; cons_tmp->setServerControls (&cs); However, on the bind call, yast segfaults, and no exception is raised (the bind call is in the "try" section).
