http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=598641 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=598641#c0 Summary: Regression in 2.6.34 which prevents KMS from working Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Milestone 5 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sndirsch@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Since Kernel 2.6.34 it's no longer possible to use KMS on my Clarkdale (8086:0042) machine. This means using the native video driver (=intel) is no longer possible. If it doesn't, I'd like the additional debug info from the second patch." Thanks! Bjorn --- Workaround for now is kernel boot option: 'pci=nocrs'. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
