Patch is supplied there. "[9 Oct 2007 2:33] Paul DuBois Noted in 5.0.50, 5.1.23 changelogs. With recent versions of DBD::mysql, mysqlhotcopy generated table names that were doubly qualified with the database name." The perl script is in /usr/bin/mysqlhotcopy. It belongs to the package mysql-tools-5.0.45-22.2 in 10.3. I've taken the script from actual mysql-5.0.64 which is working as desired.
