[Bug 1032462] New: network:telephony/linphone: Bug constantly writes to .linphonerc
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1032462 Bug ID: 1032462 Summary: network:telephony/linphone: Bug constantly writes to .linphonerc Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software Assignee: fisiu@opensuse.org Reporter: jon@moozaad.co.uk QA Contact: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com CC: jengelh@inai.de, nix@opensuse.org Found By: --- Blocker: --- Program constantly writes a .linphonerc. It averages about 5KBs. Literally constantly writing a .linphonerc.tmp, deleting the existing and renaming to replace. No logical reason for this behaviour that I can think of, it's not a log. Not very SSD wear friendly and also guarantees a corrupt or missing config if the app or host crashes. Experienced on tumbleweed with that version of 3.10.2 Strace (truncated) open("/home/moozaad/.linphonerc.tmp", O_WRONLY|O_CREAT, 0600) = 29 lseek(29, 0, SEEK_SET) = 0 write(29, "[sip", 4) = 4 <snip> write(29, "\n", 1) = 1 close(29) = 0 rename("/home/moozaad/.linphonerc.tmp", "/home/moozaad/.linphonerc") = 0 ad infinitum -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
