When I try to choose a different printer the applications hang and after a while a message appears that the application does not respond after confirmation the application crashes. The printer is a HP Office Jet connected via USB to a frix.box WLAN 7270 and shared over the network. Printing from 11.1 works fine. In particular: 1. Does lpstat -p show the print queue and if yes, what exactly does it show? If "lpstat -p" does not show the print queue, is the SuSEfirewall running or not i.e. what results as root "rcSuSEfirewall2 status" and if the SuSEfirewall is running, does it work when it is switched off as root with "rcSuSEfirewall2 stop"? 2. The lpstat gives the following: testuser@linux-alnk:~> lpstat -p Drucker HPofficejet5600series ist inaktiv. Aktiviert seit Di 22 Sep 2009 23:18:18 CEST Drucker HPofficejet5600series@192.168.178.20 ist inaktiv.
