But, surprisingly, Vit says the bug went away after updating Qt 4.5 (from an "unstable" OBS repo). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I guess it would be nice to get a gdb backtrace, with debuginfo packages for libzypp and yast2-pkg-bindings, and running YaST with export Y2DEBUGONCRASH=1. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

They should be compatible but then maybe they aren't. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Mixing factory and 11.1 is always dangerous, even if we did not change anything libzypp. Soleley the different boost versions used may cause trouble. Most of the boost code is inlined, thus not part of a common shared library. Similar with stl. And there's also much inline code in libzypp. That way pkgbindins and libzypp may in fact execute different code when calling the same (inlined) method. This may mead to subtle errors. Meanwhile factory was updated to 6.x. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
