Conceptronic C54RU v3 802.11bg Wireless Adapter [Ralink RT2571W]" with hostapd. After openSUSE-2014-441 kernel update AP is still visible, but connections fail. Kernel log contains messages like: [ 1965.631547] ieee80211 phy2: rt2x00lib_rxdone: Error - Wrong frame size 0 max 2432 [ 1986.735558] ieee80211 phy2: rt2x00lib_rxdone_read_signal: Warning - Frame received with unrecognized signal, mode=0x0000, signal=0x0095, type=1 [ 1988.101945] ieee80211 phy2: rt2x00lib_rxdone: Error - Wrong frame size 3488 max 2432 These messages did not show up previously. Reboot does not cure the problem. Using same series Wlan stick on a different USB port shows the same problem. Problem goes away when reverting to previous kernel 3.11.10-11-desktop. This might be a duplicate. Bugzilla bug search times out on me. Could you tell exactly which kernel does the problem appear? I tried the openSUSE-2014-441 update again. It is 3.11.10-17-desktop for x86_64. But today the connection works without problems. Maybe it has to do with the new Kindle Paperwhite. When I try to connect the Kindle all existing hostapd connections freeze. But that is the case for 3.11.10-17-desktop and for
