https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=289591 Summary: yast partitioner shows installation DVD as EVMS Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 5 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: asvetter@cip.physik.uni-wuerzburg.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com CC: asklein@wpax13.physik.uni-wuerzburg.de Found By: --- In the Partition dialog during installation, the installation DVD is shown as EVMS. I think it should not be shown at all. The DVD is a DVD-RW in a DVD-writer device. Maybe it is different with a DVD-R(OM). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Please run command "evms_activate -d extra" and attach /var/log/evms-engine.log here. I think you can also manually edit /etc/evms.conf during install and attach the log files here.
