Jano, does zypper support all original rug commands, that could be written in /etc/cron.d/yast2-online-update?
AFAIK they are: -y -d --skip-interactive
The -y (bug #216649) and -d (FATE #302159) options are not implemented so far, --skip-interactive is.
The rug command itself is "rug up -t patch" - I assume "zypper up -t patch" is the correct replacement.
