fixed HAL detection of filesystem information for CD/DVD. Since udev tell us nothing about the fs on the media via an event, HAL still needs to check these info via libvolume_id.
Just FYI, udev tells you about media changes. Just look at: udevadm monitor --env It's all in a "change" event, which may just not handled by HAL. Using libvolume_id in HAL, like we always did, sounds fine though. AFAIKS this depends on the udev version. On 11.0 I don't get such an event.
This might be that 11.0 does not do this, yes. But this bug is about 11.1, like comment#13 says? And the submitted package is in Factory stating that udev does not provide that information, which is just not true, I hope. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
