[Bug 439092] New: Excessive dependency: KDE4 Base System drags in yast2-samba-server
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=439092 Summary: Excessive dependency: KDE4 Base System drags in yast2- samba-server Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 3 Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: gp@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: mge@novell.com Found By: Product Management Installing the KDE4 Base System pattern on top of an installation using a KDE3 environment on the system with attached package list needlessly drags in yast2-samba-server. (Unless the YaST package is quite misnamed, I'm surprised this should be needed for a desktop environment. Do we even have this module on SLED?) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The "KDE3 environment" installation should have already pulled it in. How did you install it? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I'll see whether I can reproduce that, but that'll be quite some effort... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
