[Bug 248726] New: Notable metacity performance regression
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=248726 Summary: Notable metacity performance regression Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 1 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: qa@suse.de After updating metacity from 2.16.x to 2.17.5, minimizing and maximizing windows is notably slower than it was before. This is an Intel 855GM chipset with 3D acceleration enabled (i810 driver). The old metacity version was really fast, the new one is almost as slow as compiz is on this hardware. e.g. inimizing a full-screen Firefox window needs almost 2 seconds until the window decoration completely disappeared within the panel. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
