Is there any reason why mutt is compiled without smtp support? If there's none could you enable it please?

Enabling smtp support still makes mutt use sendmail unless explicitly configured otherwise. Configuring postfix for different outgoing smtp(s) servers depending on sender address is a PITA. Folder hooks in mutt are likely much easier. Also I don't want my smtps password stored on my laptop.
