When I run gwenview in 4.8.4 it doesn't try to open any kind of libkdeinit_ files (as evidenced by strace) Also, the kdeinit files in kde4 are usually called libkdeinit4_ and there really isn't one for gwenview If you do "type gwenview" do you really get /usr/bin/gwenview or is it picking up the binary from somewhere else? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I had an old gwenview binary from 2008 in my ~/bin folder. Why it only now decided to load in preference to /usr/bin/gwenview, I do not know. Anyway, it's gone now. Thank you for your quick and helpful response. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
