[Bug 1078466] systemd: duplicated entries in tmpfiles.d
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1078466 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1078466#c42 --- Comment #42 from Franck Bui <fbui@suse.com> --- (In reply to Thorsten Kukuk from comment #32)
etc.conf -> this has absolut nothing to do with filesystem package. Maybe aaa_base. home.conf: the directories are part of filesystem package, should be dropped legacy.conf: has nothing to do with filesystem package tmp.conf: /tmp and /var/tmp entry should be removed, else maybe aaa_base var.conf: all directories from this should be dropped, not sure about the files in /var/log x11.conf: should be part of X11, but nothing for pure text terminal servers, so not for filesystem package.
I'm about to drop from systemd package: etc.conf, home.conf, legacy.conf, tmp.conf, var.conf. With this reasoning, there's no point for systemd for defining any on systemd paths and the relevant packages take care of them directly. But for the time being I'll keep them in a tmpfile conf file (named "suse.conf) which will contain: # Legacy symlink. Maybe should be owned by util-linux ? L+ /etc/mtab - - - - ../proc/self/mounts # Remove legacy.conf but keep this one here since there's not better # place. d /run/lock 0775 root lock - # FIXME: Should these one be moved to shadow ? f /var/log/wtmp 0664 root utmp - f /var/log/btmp 0660 root utmp - f /var/log/lastlog 0664 root utmp - WDYT ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
