[Bug 298374] New: 2.0.0.5 Firefox update broke Xrandr library compatibility
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=298374 Summary: 2.0.0.5 Firefox update broke Xrandr library compatibility Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: kde@3danim.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- After updating Firefox to version 2.0.0.5 using an official update repository, I started getting linker relocation errors when compiling Qt 4.2.3. It appears that some part of the update (possibly gconf2) updated the X libraries to a newer build, thus breaking compatibility of the Xrandr library. Reverting back to 7.2-21 solved the issue. I am running the 64bit version of 10.2. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
