[Bug 1128320] New: YaST Partitioner: Don't suggest /run/... mount point for USB media
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1128320 Bug ID: 1128320 Summary: YaST Partitioner: Don't suggest /run/... mount point for USB media Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Factory Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: shundhammer@suse.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- When you start the YaST partitioner with USB media (USB stick, USB disk, SD card) attached and mounted by your desktop (KDE, GNOME, Xfce) and edit any partition on that USB device, by default it suggests to mount that device (since it's already mounted) with the current temporary mount point below /run/media. If you continue the workflow, you have to be very careful to unselect that "mount" radio button, otherwise you will end up with that device permanently added to /etc/fstab with that /run/media mount point. That mini-workflow should NOT preselect the "mount" radio button by default for any of those temporary mount points. It should at least explicitly exclude /run/media (or probably better yet /run completely) from that check. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
