After restarting it runs again for a couple of hours and crashes again. Setup: Authorization is done on Windows ADS. Error: 32322: add new entry "chascom.int\ewalsm" of type GETPWBYNAME for passwd to cache (first) nscd: cache.c:143: cache_add: Assertion `newp->key + newp->len <= table->head->first_free' failed. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=302506#c9 --- Comment #9 from Petr Baudis <pbaudis@novell.com> 2007-11-05 10:15:26 MST --- Unfortunately nscd is really buggy and we are fixing a lot of bugs as we are hitting them; I cannot guarantee that we will backport all the bugfixes to 10.2, though, since only security and critical fixes are backported; if it crashes only occassionally, I recommend to run it in a while loop from a shellscript. If your nscd crashes and you want us to look at it, please attach the nscd.conf and the coredump file, that's the minimum we need to debug it.
