It used to work with openSUSE 11.0. After launching the hibernation, the screen goes black but quickly turns on back to the gnome desktop. I have tried several combinations in /etc/suspend.conf. My laptop is a Thinkpad T61 one, with Nvidia Quadro 140M and the proprietary driver. However, I am pretty sure that it has nothing to do with nvidia.
