My old KMail data is in ~/Mail, system quite fast. 1) I first run a migration (can do repeatedly by steps below). 2) On first opening KMail2: - my mail structure shows up, with all subfolders correct - "Synchronizing email folder inbox" shows on the bottom, never finishes (for a day max wait, fast system) - looking at /home/mzimmermann/.local/share/akonadi/db_data/akonadi/parttable.ibd quickly goes to 25 Mb, then stops (I have about 1Gb of data) - but there are only a few records in it - /home/mzimmermann/.local/share/akonadi/file_db_data/ has about 1000 files (I have about 1Gb of data, estimated 100 000 messagesd) - my old messages never show up in KMail2 thanks, milan PS: rerunning migration as follows: akonadictl stop sleep 40 rm -rf ~/.config/akonadi rm -rf ~/.local/share/akonadi rm ~/.kde4/share/config/kmail2rc rm ~/.kde4/share/config/kmail-migratorrc rm -rf ~/.kde4/share/apps/kmail-migrator rm -rf ~/.kde4/share/apps/kmail2 akonadictl start sleep 40 kmail-migrator --interactive Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: see details Actual Results: my old messages (pre- 12.1 upgrade) never show up in KMail2 Expected Results: KMail 2 shows my pre-update messages I had the same experience with the (aborted) KMail2 inclusion in pre-11.4 At this point the only way to move forward with Opensuse 12.1 and beyond is to loose all mail - I did spend days and days on this without luck... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
