[Bug 232449] New: KDE ignores KDEWM setting
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=232449 Summary: KDE ignores KDEWM setting Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: felix.rommel@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de I tried different things to set another window manager for KDE, for example Compiz, Metacity or Beryl. I created a file called compiz.sh - one time in /opt/kde/env and the other time in ~/.kde/env. I put the following lines in there: export KDEWM=/usr/local/bin/compiz.sh And in /usr/local/bin/compiz.sh there is: compiz --replace decoration wobbly fade minimize cube switcher rotate scale move resize place 3d & gtk-window-decorator --replace & Both scripts are executable. I did it like described in a howto but KDE ignores any KDEWM settings. These settings worked in another distribution. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
