[Bug 1015603] New: When installing multiple desktops, MATE's start menu disappears
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1015603 Bug ID: 1015603 Summary: When installing multiple desktops, MATE's start menu disappears Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: VMWare OS: Windows 7 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: 70tas@usa.net QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- After installation, logging in to MATE on Tumbleweed and LEAP works fine. If I switch desktops, i.e. GNOME, and back to MATE, Mate panel no longer contains a START menu. In addition, MATE config complains that all themes are unavailable because Adwaita is missing. I know I've seen this in prior releases, but it appears to have gotten worse. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1015603 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1015603#c1 --- Comment #1 from Anastasios Papadopoulos <70tas@usa.net> --- Re-installed TW. This time only installed XFCE and MATE, as well as my normal assortment of packages. It selected the add-ons required and installed. I logged in with XFCE. All good. I then logged out and logged in via MATE. Worked like a charm. I now have the classic Novell menu, and the Notes to the right of it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
