Since I doubt you are able to fix it (except for yourself), I'm reassigning it to the default assignee of "Printing" - which is the right component here. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Was there any fix for the Epson Stylus Photo R320 driver in Gutenprint? Attachment #108292 looks like a bug in the printer driver. We don't have your particular model but I got similar bad results with my Epson Stylus Photo RX 420. Rainer, what exactly do you mean with 'compiling the source "Gutenprint 5.0.0"'? Which exact source did you compile? Our openSUSE 10.2 sources of our gutenprint package or sources from the Gutenprint project home page? Did you use any "configure" options? Which exact PPD file do you use now? Pease attach your current /etc/cups/ppd/<queue-name>.ppd to this bug with mime type text/plain. The severity is not "critical" because there is no system crash or loss of data see https://bugzilla.novell.com/page.cgi?id=fields.html#bug_severity -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=226011 ------- Comment #5 from ssommer@novell.com 2007-01-02 04:33 MST ------- Does this still happen with openSUSE 10.2 final? Beware that the ppds from your self compiled version and the ppds from the RPM are probably in different locations. The fix for the RX420 went in very late. The bug affected almost all Epson printers and was caused by the patching of the ppds in the specfile. This may explain why your self compiled gutenprint works. I just tested on the R800 again and printing the testpage works for me. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Therefore I assume it is fixed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
