[Bug 552981] New: after using a modem dialup, knetworkmanager needs a restart
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=552981 Summary: after using a modem dialup, knetworkmanager needs a restart Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: jw@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Blocks: 357354 Found By: --- I am connecting to a dialup using cinternet -i modem0 . While connected, knetworkmanager icon says 'Network managing disabled' This is okay. After closing the dialup, knetworkmanager does not regain control. It still insists on 'Network manager disabled' without allowing me any actions. It should check again, at least when clicking on the icon. Workaround: killall knetworkmanager; knetworkmanager then I can use it again. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If this still happens with 12.1's plasmoid-networkmanagement and not opensuse-specific, please report it upstream. http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bugreport_KDE#Before_you_report_bugs You can also try a current version of KDE with older openSUSE versions. http://en.opensuse.org/KDE_repositories -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
