New versions of Apache and PHP keep showing up on the update software applet because openSUSE 10.2 versions are higher.
Yes, expected.

I had to install older RPM's than the ones provided by openSUSE 10.2 (customer requirement) their platform won't run on PHP 5.2.

unless Im seriuoly mising something , there is very lilte incompatible userspace changes between 5.1.2 and 5.2.0 (internally yes, there are a lot of differences) IMHO you are resolving the problem the wrong way and I would not expect that to work, unless you recompile both apache and php from source. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Then yes, most probably it's not a duplicate of the bug 236089. And also it's irrelevant why the reporter wants the older packages to be installed. Therefore, please attach your yast logs. http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST Thank you. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
