Is there any reason why are you using packages from this project and not directly from Tumbleweed repository? Does it work if you use only packages from Tumbleweed? I have leap 42.2 and I have rather very new hardware (Latitude 7480 with kabylake):
model name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7600U CPU @ 2.80GHz 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Device 5916 (rev 02) I have to use this (+ kernel from obs kernel/stable or vanilla repo) because of i915 freezes and drm related errors, related to Mesa and Xorg (for example HWRotation not supported in leap line of xorg). To answer your question, I'm 95% sure it won't work in TW for sure because I had on this my laptop at the beginning TW (I tried that) but reinstalled to leap.
Please attach also complete not filtered /var/log/Xorg.0.log and output of `xinput list --long` command.
