Thanks. OK, the system supports S3, so it should at least suspend to RAM. First, can you check if you have 'autosuspend' enabled in kpowersave? 1- yes, in kpowersave suspension on the ram is enabled.
I understand from this answer that you have the 'Enable autosuspend' checkbox checked in the kpowersave configuration and 'Suspend to RAM' selected as the autosuspend method. That's why you get the error quoted in your report after some time of user inactivity. Your machine is not in the whitelist of s2ram and cannot be automatically suspended to RAM. If you want to fix this, you should either find a working combination of s2ram options as described at http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram (from my experience, the fastest way of doing this is to try s2ram from a root shell with various combinations of options until you find a working one) and update the pm-utils configuration or to disable autosuspend in kpowersave.
2- No ,i have Nvidia GeForce8600m GT (whitout drivers proprietary)
It is likely that suspend to RAM will work on your machine with the proprietary NVidia driver. You can try that as well. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
