Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 1 Platform: i386 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: OpenOffice.org AssignedTo: kyu@novell.com ReportedBy: gffranco@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- After installation of openSuSE 11.1 beta 1, trying to execute OpenOffice.org 3.0 crashs with the following pop up error: "Error loading BASIC of document file:///home/gabriel/.ooo3/user/basic/script.xlc/: General Error. General Input/output error." Pressing ok, another error dialog pops up with the same message but different layout: "Error loading BASIC of document file:///home/ gabriel/.ooo3/user/basic/script.xlc/: General Error. General Input/output error." After pressing ok a third error dialog pops up with the message: "Error loading BASIC of document file:///home/ gabriel/.ooo3/user/basic/dialogs.xli/: General Error. General Input/output error." After this message OpenOffice opens up normally. Closing OpenOffice and openning again it gives me the message: "OpenOffice.org is loding the templates for first-time use" And the dialog to select the document type shows up. I am somewhat unable to reproduce it with the last build. It is great that it helped. It would be great if you could compress the old setting and attach it. We might need to create a hack in OOo for this if there are too many affected people outside.
