[Bug 768639] New: split oss/non-oss 12.2 update repo
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=768639 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=768639#c0 Summary: split oss/non-oss 12.2 update repo Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: coolo@suse.com ReportedBy: lnussel@suse.com QAContact: jsrain@suse.com CC: adrian@suse.com, coolo@suse.com, security-team@suse.de, maintenance@opensuse.org Found By: --- Blocker: --- openSUSE currently has separate repos for free software according to the free software definition (repo-oss) and software that is not free according to that definition (repo-non-oss). There's only one update repo though that mixes both typoes of software again. This was ok from a technical PoV until 12.1 as the project configs for both repos were the same. In 12.2 more software was moved to non-oss and the project configs now differ. So it's no longer possible to build a package against both oss and non-oss repos at the same time. Therefore we need a separate update repo for non-oss packages. - obs maintained flags need to be set accordingly - control.xml and/or product file need to include the new repo to have yast add it after installation -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
