Capture is checked and volume is up. Looking at: www.limuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Pinnacle_PCTV_USB2 sox is used for routing audio to right device but the document seems a bit old and for OSS. So I didn't try. Maybe another half bug like #561235 Alsa-info attached. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. If you can record the right sound with this, it means that the sound system is OK. For sure vlc is not the best program for watching tv (no channels). In tvtime seems there's no way for setting the audio device. Kdetv does not work anymore (is dead) and still no audio in mplayer:( Is there a way for setting/swapping the default audio device ? I mean a quick way/workaround for mplayer ? I start mplayer in this way: mplayer -tv tv_options:alsa:adevice=hw=1.0 no errors only a simple Audio: no sound.
