Gnome installer does not use cursor, but if it has to be the same look and feel for every installer, than instead empty editbox (initially) it could be the current size of partition. Also, validator should check first the units (if missing, it should say it) then, the value. Currently it is not done, thus it is incorrect --> reopening.

Installer everywhere uses GB. And you enter not a number but a value. (*) speed, volume, heat, etc. requires units. Capacity is not exception.
