[Bug 434813] New: rpm's find-requires cannot abort the build
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=434813 Summary: rpm's find-requires cannot abort the build Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: mls@novell.com ReportedBy: agruen@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- RPM does not check the exit status of find-requires. As a result, there is no way to abort the build when some dependencies cannot be met. I would like to fail find-requires if KMPs have any dependencies on symbols not provided by the main kernel package to stop people from trying to create interdependent KMPs (which don't really work for various reasons). I think this feature could be added for all the find-* scripts quite easily. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
